What my collaborators say about my role and impact
Her key contribution at MuseLAB has been immense, specially while driving the design and execution of the RBK IB and CBSE Institutional projects, whilst leading a team of 4 designers. This project is a true reflection of Shikha’s repertoire and inclination towards the management aspect of projects.
Her exceptional organizational prowess, negotiation skills with consultants, understanding of client requirements and ability to manage people lend perfect support to her design competence. Her ‘easy-to-work-with’ demeanour was greatly admired by her seniors and peers alike, be it at the studio or otherwise.
As part of the team or as a team leader, Shikha always brought a certain sense of calm over and above her skills as a designer.
Huzefa Rangwala
Director of Design, MuseLAB
Shikha and I collaborate on my research in the space of ethics and values in UX design practice. I have seen her both as a researcher and a designer who exceeds expectations in delivering high-defined outcomes, interested in learning new research methods, engaging in new domains of knowledge, and getting things done. As a research graduate assistant, I simply call her my “right hand.”
She is always delivering good outcomes and has illustrated great design thinking skills which usually has a holistic approach of thinking about pluralistic user scenarios and journeys. Given the design project her team was working on building a mobile app to increase grocery shopping conversion rates, she leveraged her background in architecture design in building spatially-oriented digital design solutions which illustrated how she combined her design expertise from different domains.
